The street art is a combination of illustrations by Andrew Rae and photos travel hot spots including Honolulu, Paris, Los Angeles, Pisa, London, Mexico City, Amsterdam, Moscow, and Zurich.
As it turns out, singles with photos of travel in their profiles are more likely to be swiped right.
With Delta offering flights to more locations than any other airline out of New York, PHD sourced the murals location in Williamsburg to motivate and inspire singles to jet set with Delta.
The #Delta Dating Wall, a product of the partnership between Delta and dating app Tinder, revamps the airline’s current Brooklyn walls. This fresh paint job will live on the #Delta Dating Wall until August 27th.This space was originally used for a different purpose—to trick your Tinder match into thinking you’re a world traveler. Now that you have a head start, Delta is also asking passersby to find these particular distinctions and share them on Instagram with the chance of winning a prize. One of the primary purposes of this installation is to acknowledge and appreciate the different hometowns of people in the NYC area.
Delta and Tinder make for a perhaps unusual pairing, but their working together also underscores how more major brands are leveraging third-party app partnerships to extend reach into new markets.
